23 of us from the Hiking group enjoyed our 70 degree February weather hiking on the 3.5 mile Grassy Creek Vineyard hike. We did a combination of trails through a forest, campground and to the Carter waterfall on the Elkin River. We enjoyed a glass of wine and lunch at the winery. It’s part of the Elkin Valley Trails Association. Part of the Mountain to Sea trail goes through here.

Doing my research on the $2.5 Billion bond referendum and found this information helpful.

A bond referendum is a question placed before the voters of Mecklenburg County. If approved, the referendum allows Mecklenburg County Government to finance capital projects at an advantageous interest rate and repay that debt over a longer period of time.
