šŸ¢šŸ¢Turtle Rehoming Update!šŸ¢šŸ¢

Weā€™re happy to share that our first turtle rehoming effort was a success! Thanks to the support of our community, 13 turtles have been safely rehomed into private backyard ponds where they can continue to thrive.

For now, weā€™re taking a break from the project, but weā€™ll resume rehoming efforts in the future if needed to help keep our ponds healthy and balanced.

9 turtles were re-homed on Sunday (could have been more but the turtles got wise to what was going on and they stayed in the middle of the pond where we couldnā€™t reach them)šŸ˜•Anyway, Iā€™ll schedule more re-home appointments after the holiday. Hopefully the turtles will settle down and will be easy to catch. Hereā€™s a video of 2 turtles being released into their new habitat.
