Finding a larger detached home in Del Mar that is in excellent shape and that sits on over an acre of private land for under $3.75M is a tall order. I worked with Mo and Gianela for close to two years before we found the perfect fit. The home was a custom Tuscan-design build that was occupied by its original owners who had maintained and improved the property beautifully, including adding a sophisticated and extensive rear patio and a manicured terraced yards. When the target requirement is rarely found, patience and strategy is required. When we found this home, there were some very unique financial contingencies that needed to be carefully explained to the sellers. I was able to do that, which was very important for maintaining the credibility of my clients. And further, the home was to be purchased with almost all of the furnishings, which needs to be organized well and specifically referenced on the purchase contract. Overall I am very proud of this transaction since I was able to meet my clients’ very demanding and specific requirements.
