In August 2010, I started Corpus Christi Realty Group with ๐ผ๐ป๐ฒ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐โ๐บ๐๐๐ฒ๐น๐ณ.
The first few years werenโt easy. We were still feeling the effects of the housing crisis, competition in our local market was growing, and CCRG was a brand-new brokerage trying to find its place.
Sixteen years later, that one-agent brokerage has grown to ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐น๐ ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ and become the ๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ด๐ฒ๐๐ ๐ถ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฆ๐ผ๐๐๐ต ๐ง๐ฒ๐
๐ฎ๐โbuilt right here, locally, from the ground up.
But what makes Sandra and me most proud isnโt the number of agents or the size of the company. Itโs ๐ต๐ผ๐ ๐๐ฒ ๐ด๐ผ๐ ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ.
From the beginning, we believed a brokerage shouldnโt just take from the real estate industryโit should ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ผ ๐ถ๐.
Over the years, CCRG agents have served as past and future Association presidents, state directors, a Regional Vice President, committee chairs, board members, and in countless other leadership positions. They have volunteered their time, shared their knowledge, mentored other REALTORSยฎ, and worked to make our profession and our community better.
We didnโt build CCRG by spending the most money on marketing or by offering the latest gimmick to convince agents to join us.
๐ช๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐๐ถ๐น๐ ๐ถ๐ ๐๐ต๐ฟ๐ผ๐๐ด๐ต ๐ผ๐๐ฟ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐น๐ฒ.
Past and present CCRG agents showed others what professionalism, cooperation, leadership, and being a REALTORยฎ should look like. Other agents saw that culture and wanted to be part of it. They came to CCRG, added their own talents and experiences, and helped us continue raising the bar.
One of the compliments that means the most to us is when ๐ผ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ป๐ฒ๐๐น๐ ๐น๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ ๐๐ผ ๐๐๐ฅ๐ because they recognize the training, support, and opportunity we provide new agents. That kind of respect from our peers means more than any advertisement ever could.
Every agent who has ever called CCRG home has played a part in this story. Some have been with us for years, some went on to other opportunities, and some are just beginning their careersโbut each helped shape what CCRG has become.
The first 16 years have been an incredible ride, and weโre even more excited about what the next 16 will bring.
