We needed an answer that day. My client was leaving the country, and if we couldnāt close Friday, we were looking at about a 10-day delay.
So with basically zero notice, I called Hill Plumbing service.
We were already dealing with a difficult transaction on a fourplex in Corsicana when a hydrostatic test came back saying the property had a leak. We were told it could be very expensive just to locate the problem, so we scheduled another plumber to come out Friday morning for a second opinion.
Then, at the last minute, they canceled. Thatās how I ended up calling Hill Plumbing with a pretty urgent request and very little notice.
They met me at the property within minutes and ran another hydrostatic test. They knew we had already been told there was potentially an expensive plumbing problem, but instead of simply confirming what we expected to hear, they tested it themselves and gave us an honest answer:
The property passed. There was no leak.
That answer meant we could move forward and get the transaction closed that same day.
