TWELVE HOURS OF MESA VERDE, Saturday May 9, Cortez, CO. What a sight to see! 7:00 AM, all riders (100s of them from across the country) gather to ride the famous Phil’s world 16 mile single track through its rugged terrain. A variety of classes, solos and relay teams of youth age and parents, teenage through Geezers. The fastest times this year were done by 2 teenage boys from Durango, completing 9 laps in 11 hours. The start of the race is LeMans, the bikes lay on theirs sides, the riders separated afar, run and pick up their bike, allowing one at a time through the start gate, with the cannon blast.
A team from our office at “United Country Blue Sky Homes and Land”, Bill and Angie, a couple of the guys, and then our own Allison Kline carried the team by completing 3 of our team’s laps. What an inspiration! Go team Blue Sky! I can’wait until next year. Maybe Pete and I will be ready by then for the Geezer’s class LOL!

Cortez, CO - Home And Garden show held at Montezuma Fair Grounds last weekend. What a great event! I and my friend and fellow Realtor, Bonnie, surrounded by booths of many wonderful vendors and local farms. One of my favorites, Fox Willow Fold, sheep farm, displaying their love and care for their beautiful sheep, while providing meat and precious furs.
