Something I hear often from attorneys:

“I’m getting leads, but they’re not the right ones.”

Joel solved that differently.

Instead of chasing more leads, he educated them first.

Now many of his clients:
✅ Read his book
✅ Understand the process
✅ Come in ready to hire

That shift—from convincing to advising—is what really stood out to me in this interview.

Responsiveness is everything.

The fastest way to improve your lead conversion is simple:
✅ automatic text response
✅ automatic email response
✅ scheduling link included

It works because it captures the lead while their interest is high — and instantly sets you apart from firms that take hours (or days) to reply.

Many law firms assume better cases come from bigger ad budgets.

In reality, results usually come from how the campaign is structured.

Serious injury campaigns tend to perform well on Meta when three things work together:

• Clear, educational messaging
• Thoughtful qualification before intake
• Immediate follow-up while interest is high

High-severity cases naturally create urgency. When messaging is calm and direct—and the intake process quickly identifies strong cases—the efficiency of the campaign changes dramatically.

Before increasing ad spend, evaluate the structure behind the campaign: clarity, screening, and response speed often determine the quality of cases more than budget alone.

Save this for future campaign planning, share it with a colleague who runs ads for law firms, and follow for more breakdowns on what’s working in legal marketing. 📌

You paid for the lead.
They reached out.
And then… crickets. 🦗

If your follow-up system is inconsistent, you’re bleeding cases every day — even when your marketing is “working.”

I break down a simple semi-automated follow-up system that keeps you top of mind and converts more leads into paying clients.

Most legal ads fail for a simple reason: they talk about the firm instead of the situation.

People scroll for clarity, not credentials. The firms seeing consistent results on Meta teach something small and useful—what happens next, what matters most, and what to avoid.

Education builds familiarity. Familiarity builds trust. Trust drives inquiries.

Save this before launching your next campaign.

Most firms don’t struggle because they lack effort.

They struggle because they lack systems.

In our recent interview with attorney Hillary Walsh — who scaled her immigration firm to 150 team members in just six years — we unpacked the operational decisions that made that growth sustainable.

In this conversation, we talk about:

✔️ Rethinking marketing as a long-term growth engine — not just an expense
✔️ How proactive communication reduces client anxiety (and team overload)
✔️ Educating at scale without adding more 1:1 meetings
✔️ A smarter way to approach paid advertising
✔️ The operational shift that keeps cases moving beyond traditional office hours

If you’re trying to grow your firm without burning out your team, I think you’ll find this one valuable.

“If you’re answering the same questions 50 times a week, you need a better system.”

In this interview, Attorney Hillary Walsh shares how her firm hosts monthly group webinars with their attorneys — speaking to thousands of clients at once. 🎥

Instead of reactive, drop-everything calls:
📅 Clients know when updates are coming
📊 Big-picture questions get answered efficiently
📞 Personal concerns are handled privately

It’s proactive communication — not constant context-switching.

A powerful reminder that scale and service don’t have to compete.

Stop guessing what will convert.

In our latest interview, attorney Hillary Walsh shares a simple rule: Don’t pay to test. Pay to scale.

She proves content first — organically.

If a post resonates without paid support?
That’s the one that earns ad dollars.

No fear-based messaging.
No wasted spend.
Just amplify what already works.

Before you boost…
Ask yourself: Did it already win?

🚨 $150 → 20 Urgent Criminal Defense Leads.

Let that sink in.

When someone is facing charges, they’re not “shopping around.”

They’re anxious. They’re overwhelmed. They need answers now. ⚖️

Here’s what this campaign proved:

🧠 Messaging wins cases before the consult even happens.

Calm reassurance > aggressive posturing.
Clear next steps > complicated legal talk.

🎥 Simple avatar videos outperform flashy edits.

When prospects are in panic mode, steady and clear converts.

📋 Qualification creates leverage.

We sorted leads by:
• DUI, assault, drug charges
• Recent arrests
• Upcoming court dates

Intake knew exactly who needed same-day help.

⚡ Speed closed the deal.

Respond within 5 minutes.
Text + call.

The first attorney to engage usually signs the client.

💰 Result:

20 high-urgency leads
$150 spend
High intent = high conversion

Criminal defense marketing isn’t about louder ads.

It’s about timing, tone, and follow-up.

What happens when you spend $400 on Facebook + Instagram ads for a bankruptcy firm? 💸📲

We ran the test — and the results were way more interesting than just “cost per lead.”

Because the real question isn’t: “How many leads did we get?” 🤔

It’s: How many real conversations did it turn into? 📞💬

I’m breaking down the exact approach (and showing the ad) in this reel 👀
