This unique gem hit the market in spring. It caught our clients eyes, but the timing wasn't quite right. End of summer, the price dropped. Unfortunately, with the home being a successful Airbnb, scheduling showings and coordinating schedules wasn't the easiest. This wasn't our first rodeo. This is actually the 2nd Airbnb we closed this month!
Jeanet drove up to Oakridge and send video tours to our buyer. We then scheduled a follow up in person showing for a few weeks later when it was available again for a showing. This time, he got both Jeanet and Scott for the showing. We toured. We admired all the little details that made the home what it was. We sat on the back patio and chatted, enjoying the serenity of the area. Our buyer decided it was go time.
Throughout the transaction, Scott and Jeanet seamlessly stepped in to handle scheduling, negotiations, inspections, signing, final walk through, and all the things needed to get from offer to close. When you work with you don't just get one amazing agent, you get two!

Three mugs. One w**e bottle. One very important decision. 😂 Sometimes you just have to leave it up to fate, right?! JUST KIDDING! 🤣

📍 Location: Neighborhood, commute, schools, amenities, and everything that makes a location the right fit.

💰 Price & affordability: Just because you qualify for a certain amount doesn't mean you want that monthly payment. We want you comfortable in your home AND your budget!

🔨 Condition: What repairs, maintenance, or updates might be needed? Are you prepared for those expenses?

📊 Market value: What are comparable homes selling for? Is the asking price reasonable? What does the current market tell us?

📝 Offer strategy: Price is only one piece of the puzzle! Earnest money, financing, contingencies, inspections, closing timelines, and seller priorities can all play a role in putting together a strong offer.

Sometimes a house is more than just a house. It's a chapter in someone's story. ❤️

Our seller moved to Oregon to be closer to her daughter and grandkids. She found this charming early 1900s home and poured so much love and TLC into making it her own. From the thoughtful touches throughout the house to the beautiful garden she planted that blooms year-round, she truly made this house a home.

And she had every intention of staying.

But sometimes life has other plans. ❤️

This summer brought an unexpected and beautiful new chapter—she got married!💍💕 And with that came the decision to close one chapter and begin another.

While saying goodbye to a home you've poured your heart into can be bittersweet, there's something pretty special about knowing another family will have the opportunity to make memories, share laughter, and fill those same walls with love.

No, this business is not for the faint of heart. I pour my heart and soul into my clients. Their dreams are my dreams. I feel their fears, doubts, pain. We are in the transaction together. Is it worth it? 10000%. There is no better feeling than being a client's 3rd or 4th realtor and crossing that finish line with them. Handing over keys to a first time homebuyer. Telling a single mom, "congratulations, we closed, the house is YOURS!"

My days are filled with:

Text messages, phone calls, and emails to clients, agents, escrow, and lenders. Following up with leads and past clients. Preparing CMAs, researching comparable sales, creating listing presentations, and holding buyer consultations. Planning showing routes. Scheduling showings. .

Writing offers and counteroffers. Going under contract. Paperwork. Scheduling inspections, negotiating repairs, coordinating with contractors, title companies, etc. Troubleshooting appraisal, financing, inspection, and title issues—all while keeping everyone calm and solving problems they may never even know happened.

Listing homes. Researching permits, zoning, septic, well, and property records. Entering and updating listings in the MLS. Scheduling photography. Shooting videos of homes. Creating marketing and social media content. Coordinating showings with sellers. Installing signs & lockboxes. Hosting open houses & broker tours. Attending inspections, appraisals, final walkthroughs, and closings. Coordinating key handoffs, networking, prospecting, attending meetings and continuing education—and managing the unexpected.

Basically, all of the things a real estate agent might do on the daily.

Then add “social media influencer” to the list… because if you’re not on socials, are you even in real estate?
