We’re looking for businesses, organizations, families and community groups to host a spot at Camp Verde’s Trunk or Treat!

Registered participants should plan to:

🏆 Compete for the Ghosts, Ghouls & Goblins Award for the best decorated spot

Parks & Recreation is accepting monetary donations to purchase additional candy. Donated candy will help supplement registered participants as needed and supply the Parks & Rec station. Participants are still responsible for bringing candy to distribute from their own spots.

Apparently I’m champagne, freedom, Here Comes the Sun, golden sunshine, summer, vanilla, peonies and creamy lemon pasta. ☀️🥂🌸🍋

And you know what?

I’m not mad at it. 😂

The creamy lemon pasta feels suspiciously specific, but apparently AI sees carbs in my soul. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂

This was actually such a fun little trend.

🚨 THE FED SPOKE. NOW PLEASE DON’T PANIC-BUY OR PANIC-WAIT. 😂

Every time the Fed makes an announcement, the internet acts like somebody just rang a bell and declared:

“THIS is officially the best day to buy a house!”

That is not how this works.

Mortgage rates can move. Home prices can move. Inventory can change. And somehow, the “experts” will still find a way to disagree with each other by dinner.

Here’s what actually matters:

🏡 You found a home you love.
💰 The monthly payment comfortably fits your budget.
📍 The house works for your life.
🧾 The numbers make sense.

That’s your buying signal.

Could rates come down later? Sure.

Could prices go up while you wait? Also sure.

And if rates improve later, refinancing may be an option.

But waiting around for some magical perfect market can also mean missing the house that actually made sense for you.

Don’t buy because someone tells you to.
Don’t wait because someone scares you into it either.

Buy when the house AND the payment make sense.

That’s the advice I’d give my girlfriend. 💋🏡
