Busy week with the Southwest Iowa Association of REALTORS®!

As this year’s President-Elect, I’ve had the chance to work alongside Joe Don Hunter, our 2026 President, and spend a lot of time talking about where our industry is headed and how we can continue serving our members and the public at a higher level.

Last week, we spent the day at the Council Bluffs 5th Grade Career Fair, where we got to talk with what felt like basically every 5th grader in the metro about real estate, what REALTORS® do, and why our industry matters.

Then the last few days were spent in Coralville at the Summer Meetings, discussing the changes happening in our industry, the challenges ahead, and how we keep improving the way we serve our communities.

I’m admittedly terrible at stopping to take real photos, so here are a few candid shots from the week. Proof that the work happened, even if the photography skills did not.
