My top spring tip for sellers: don’t make buyers do the math.

When buyers walk through a home, they’re already comparing it to every other house they’ve seen.

If their brain starts going:
“Redo the kitchen…”
“Replace the floors…”
“Update the bathrooms…”

They’re not adding value in their head — they’re subtracting it.

Spring buyers move fast. The homes that get the most attention are the ones where the price and condition make sense right away.
