🛠️ Homeowner Tip Tuesday
Winter can be tough on driveways — especially gravel ones.
Between snow removal, plowing, and freeze-thaw cycles, it’s common for driveways to shift, rut, or lose their proper slope.
Now add the coming spring rain… and those small issues turn into washouts fast.
Things to watch for:
✔️ Ruts or low spots where water sits
✔️ Gravel pushed to the sides from plowing
✔️ Water running down the driveway instead of off to the side
✔️ Edges washing away after heavy rain
A driveway should be shaped so water runs off, not straight down it. Regrading helps restore the slope, improve drainage, and protect the base underneath.
Fixing it now can prevent bigger damage once spring storms really get going.
