Stirling was proud to represent at the The University of South Alabama Gulf Coast Real Estate Spring Forum: True Grit to Growth, hosted by the University of South Alabama Real Estate Program, bringing together industry professionals for meaningful dialogue on today’s evolving commercial real estate landscape.

As part of the program, NAIOP Gulf Coast led the afternoon session, “Under Pressure: Revitalizing Icons and Scaling the Future,” with Melissa Warren, CCIM - Stirling Properties, Stirling Senior Advisor and NAIOP Gulf Coast President, serving as moderator. The panel provided valuable insight into navigating rising costs, adaptive reuse, and complex development challenges.

We were also pleased to have strong representation from our Daphne Advisors, including Jeff Barnes, CCIM, Gantt Wilkinson, Jill Meeks, and Steadman Bethea, who joined peers for a day of industry engagement.

Stirling New Orleans Advisors had a great day visiting the Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO)! We learned about their latest economic development wins and the progress at Churchill Technology Park.

A tour of Delgado Advanced Manufacturing Center clearly displayed why JEDCO is a leader in workforce development, which is winning business for the Parish. Feeding the pipeline of the future in science and technology starts at a young age as evidenced by the brilliant students at Pat F. Taylor STEM Academy - an incredibly impressive group of intelligent youngsters and future leaders.

We had over 80 people attend this morning's inaugural breakfast to discuss the future of commercial real estate development along the Gulf Coast.
