I want to take a minute and talk about metal roofing. In the picture are to screws from a metal roof that have cuts in the rubber gasket. It doesn’t seem like much however this was causing a roof leak. It is important to inspect a metal roof at least once a year, to prevent something small to turn into something big.

Let’s talk about leaks and water damage. Today I was working in a commercial remodel and found this gem picture here. And yes that is my truck key stuck in to two separate 2x10 floor joist. If given time even the smallest of leaks can cause major damage. This one was isolated to a small area however that doesn’t mean it can’t be worse then that little stain.

Let’s take a minute to talk about why cracked and broken concrete is a safety issue. The big one is it is a trip hazard. I know I have tripped over a sidewalk before.

Also this can be a sign of deeper issues with the property. It is rare but it’s never a bad thing to get it checked out and fixed before it becomes an issue

I was helping a Friend out and found these brass PEX fitting. It has gone through dezincification process and was leaking. Luckily for him this was under his home. If your home was built in the early 2000’s and you have PEX, you might have these fittings.
