BEFORE & AFTER: We're wrapping everything up on both floors of the Ankenbauer. The second floor unit just has a few more finishing touches - then she's done! Here are some before/after photos of that unit.

We're not quite finished with the living room on the second floor of the Ankenbauer, but wanted to give you a peek of our progress. Original floors polished, fresh paint, and loads of 50s/60s furniture and decor.

The Paul Tuttle Arco chairs (white ones) were reupholstered by Helltown Workshop - which also reupholstered the blue fabric sofa (a family piece).

DOOR RESTORATION DAY:

While kitchen cabinets were being installed, today, on the first floor. We took the opportunity to freshen up our original veneered doors in the 2nd floor apartment. Dry as a bone - we cleaned and then rubbed a generous amount of bees wax on the doors. We're very happy with the end result. Only a few more to go upstairs, then same process on the first floor.
