King County is having a much more dramatic swing in buyer activity than Pierce. This week, the pending home activity has increased significantly, possibly buyers jumping in before potential future interest rate increases. In anticipation of the rate hike, mortgage rates have already been at a high, and after the rate announcement, they backed down slightly. What a wild ride this market is! 🎢🏠🫣

When the stars align and everything falls into place—in a real estate world where almost nothing seems to go smoothly these days—you know it was meant to be! ✨

I couldn’t be happier for the amazing buyers of this adorable home! 🏡❤️ Everyone came together, worked through the bumps along the way, and kept things moving with a great attitude. In the end, it turned into such a wonderful experience for everyone involved.

This week, the stats are saying that King County housing inventory increased more than enough to make up for the slow-down over Labor Day weekend, but buyer activity is reflecting the slow holiday weekend. While Pierce County stayed more steady with inventory, though is slowing down with buyer activity over the last 2 weeks straight. 🏠

Real estate in the PNW has not slowed down this Summer ☀ as it typically does. Buyers traffic is still strong, and seems to be picking up already as many people are back from vacation and starting school. New listings are still coming on the market as fast as buyers are offering, though inventory levels have been built up to higher levels than we have seen in years. Seemingly still teetering on a balanced market in this area. 📈🏠📉

The real estate market is holding steady as we head toward the end of Summer. Lots of price reductions, and buyers are still out there picking the best homes for the best prices. Well priced homes sometimes see multiple offers, even right after a solid reduction that spikes buyer interest. ☀🏠☀

While King and Pierce Counties seem to be keeping up a steady flow of buyers, inventory is just keeping up in King County, while it seems that more sellers are coming on the market in Pierce County, despite what is typically a very slow month in this part of the country. Despite the relatively steady flow, eager sellers are reducing their prices to get ahead of all the competition and buyers are taking advantage of it. ☀🏠🌲
