Closing day doesn’t always mean moving day. 🏡🔑
A Use and Occupancy Agreement may allow the seller to remain in the home temporarily after closing—but the terms must be crystal clear. Move-out date, occupancy fee, security deposit, utilities, damages, and penalties should all be addressed before you sign.
You own the house…so make sure you’re protected while someone else is still living in it.
