Rhode Island homes are still selling for almost full price ☕

Rhode Island's median sale price hit $540,000 in September, with sellers averaging 99.9% of asking and 45% closing above list price (Houzeo / State-Wide MLS). Mortgage rates held steady at 7.40% for a 30-year fixed this week (Freddie Mac). Inventory is up, but supply is still a tight 2.5 months (Houzeo).

Prices are climbing across RI, CT and MA — is your equity keeping up? ☕

Connecticut’s median sale price is up 7.7% year over year to $474,026 in August (Redfin). Rhode Island followed with a 6.6% gain to $532,781 (Redfin), while Massachusetts single-family homes rose 2.2% to $695,000 (MAR). Mortgage rates held near 7.46% today, down slightly from last week (Freddie Mac; Mortgage Research Center).
