Starting Friday & Into the Weekend!
There’s plenty happening starting Friday and into the weekend! From painting and a little murder mystery to shopping local, swapping instead of tossing, connecting with community resources and more, our Chamber members have a lot going on.
FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2
● Annual 4-H Haybale Decorating Contest – Registration Deadline
• Friday, October 2
Our members at UF IFAS Extension Wakulla County - 4H are bringing a little fall fun around Wakulla with their Annual 4-H Haybale Decorating Contest! Friday is the deadline to register, with haybales to be completed by 5:00 PM Saturday, October 3.
● Good Riddance: A Gnarly 1990s Murder Mystery
• 5:00–10:00 PM
• The Lodge at Wakulla Springs
Our members at The Lodge at Wakulla Springs are taking it back to the ’90s for an interactive murder mystery dinner! Follow the clues, uncover the secrets and see if you can solve the mystery. Dinner is included and costumes are encouraged.
● KWCB Paint Party
• Doors open at 6:00 PM | Class begins at 7:00 PM
• Palaver Tree Theater
Our members at Keep Wakulla County Beautiful are kicking off the weekend with a Paint Party fundraiser featuring local artist Rachell Mathis! No experience is needed, all supplies are included and the cost is $45 per person. Come create, relax and support a cleaner, greener Wakulla!

● Hand Me Down, Get Down – Wakulla’s Coolest Swap Event
• 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Our members at Keep Wakulla County Beautiful are rethinking what we throw away! Bring what you don’t use and take what you’ll love, everything is free. It’s a fun way to give good items a new home and keep them out of the landfill. Less landfill, more love!
● Wakulla County Nonprofit & Community Resource Fair

Come see just how many resources are available right here in Wakulla County! Hosted by the Chamber’s Nonprofit Network Resource Group, this free community event brings local nonprofits and organizations together in one place to share their programs, services and resources.
● Operation Market Garden: A Bridge Too Far – Final Day
• 11:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum
Saturday is the final day to visit this special exhibit from our members at Camp Gordon Johnston Museum. Admission is free.
