Headwaters Haus looks good in black + white.

There’s something about this time of year in Creede that makes you notice the smaller things.

The old photographs.
Weathered wood.
A fire going a little earlier.
Cold mornings along the river.
The history hanging quietly on the walls.

Headwaters Haus has never been about filling a space with things. We wanted it to feel collected over time, like it belongs here, in this little mountain town at the headwaters of the Rio Grande.

A little moody. A little nostalgic. Very much Creede.

Here in Creede, fall doesn’t wait for October. September brings crisp mornings, changing leaves, cozy fires and coffee by the river, and we plan to soak up every second of it.
