🌳 Something happening locally this week that caught my attention…

Crescent City has two public meetings Wednesday regarding grant applications for two of our local parks:

📍 Colbert Park — 10:00 AM
📍 Harry Banks Park — 10:30 AM

I love seeing attention being given to the places that make our little community HOME.

Parks, waterfront areas, boat access, recreation and community spaces may not be the first things people think about when they hear "real estate" — but they're a huge part of what makes someone want to live somewhere. ❤️

That's one of the things I love about small-town living.

Here in Florida that means…

🏡 And pretending 85° feels a little cooler

because the calendar says FALL!

🏡 "So…is the real estate market up or down?"

The answer isn't quite that simple. 😂

Florida's latest housing numbers show something interesting:
Sales have slowed a little, but home prices statewide have remained fairly steady, while the number of homes available for sale has tightened.

But here's the part I think matters most:

📍 FLORIDA isn't one single real estate market.

What's happening with a waterfront home in Welaka may be completely different from a manufactured home in Georgetown, acreage outside Crescent City, or a home in Palatka.

That's why I wouldn't base a decision to buy OR sell on one headline you saw online.
