Everyone still enjoying their daily âadjustmentâ of their holiday friend?
If youâve run out of ideas, here are some to help in the final stretch!
- Cooking Adventures: Position the elf in the kitchen, surrounded by miniature cooking utensils, attempting to bake or cook something with small ingredients (candy canes, marshmallows). You can leave a note suggesting a treat for the family.
- Artistic Elf: Have the elf set up an easel with miniature art supplies, creating tiny masterpieces or drawing funny portraits of family members.
- Snow Angel Elf: Create a scene where the elf has found flour or powdered sugar and made a snow angel on a countertop or table.
- Movie Night: Set up a mini movie night with popcorn, a tiny screen (use a tablet or a small cardboard box), and some popcorn containers. The elf can be the "usher" or "ticket collector."
- Reading Time: Position the elf with a tiny book or magazine, surrounded by other mini toys, maybe reading a story to some action figures or dolls.
- Obstacle Course: Use household items like toilet paper rolls, cardboard boxes, or Lego to create an obstacle course for the elf to navigate during the night.
- Holiday Countdown: Have the elf create a countdown using candies or ornaments, subtracting one each day leading up to Christmas.
- Letter Writing: Leave materials for the elf to write letters to Santa or encourage children to write their own letters, leaving the elf with tiny envelopes or postage stamps.
- Elf Fashion Show: Have the elf set up a fashion show using doll clothes or tiny clothing items, showcasing different holiday outfits.
- Scavenger Hunt: Hide small treats or notes around the house, leading up to a final surprise left by the elf.
- Toy Tinkering: Position the elf in a workbench made from cardboard or a shoebox, "fixing" or assembling small toys with miniature tools
- Bedtime Stories: Set up a scene with the elf tucked into a small doll bed with a book, perhaps surrounded by other toys also getting ready for bedtime.
- âoh elf itâ: throw the thing in your tree and hope it doesnât get found for a day or two so you can sleep in. đ
I hope this helps someone!
