Possible round 2 on the season tomorrow. Here are a few tips to keep you right!

1. Stay SAFE at all times. Do NOT risk your wellbeing for a picture!

2. Once the storm has passed and things are settled, carefully start to take pictures of hail, down trees etc.

3. Do NOT file a claim right away. Please verify your coverages first. This is something we can help you with. Make sure whoever helps you do this is licensed to do so! Filing a claim without the proper coverages or actual damages could result in a bad situation. Better safe than sorry.

4. Call me at 708-446-2802 for a free property inspection. I’m already inspecting from the 3/10 and 3/13 damage dates, and I will get to you!

I will get to all of you. Please be patient and do NOT go with a storm chaser just trying to get you to file a claim. If you don’t have the appropriate damages the claim will be denied. I see this a LOT!!

Claims are good when they are needed and can be backed with an actual loss. Set up the correct way for success!! Contractors who are “insurance specialists” do NOT have your best interest 9 out of 10 times. You will be left with a denied claim and wondering what to do next. It is important to start the process the correct way!!

Being a licensed adjuster as well as a contractor in Illinois allows me to see both sides. This is experience talking, not competition. I will get to all my referrals and friends first as always while I work hard to get back to everyone else who has reached out!!

The recent hail storms that passed through really did some damage. It’s better to be safe than sorry. This exposed asphalt will eventually wear away from the sun and no longer shed water!

Setting up my free inspection list for next season. I recommend an annual inspection of your exterior to check for all possible storm damage. The process is simple. We check the exterior of your home home and you are provided a details. If you have damage we present options and now YOU KNOW. If you don’t have any damage then we see you next storm or next year for your annual!

Our goal is to protect your exterior from the elements. We make sure you don’t have anything going on outside that will make its way inside.

We had some wicked hail and wind storm in 2023 which resulted in a lot of construction to bring them back to a pre storm condition. These homes are updated and upgraded. 90% of them were paid for by a service you as property owners have but rarely use. We navigate that process too if need be.

The carriers don’t play fair but that is what we are here to do. Protect the interest of YOU the insured.

Over the last several years, there has been an increase in UPPA activity by contractors who choose to act as and perform adjusting tasks that they are not licensed or trained to perform.

This is important because UPPA presents risks to policyholders, and can adversely affect those who are properly licensed and ethical members of the public adjusting profession.
