Saturday evenings in Crested Butte are pretty magical!

As the sun settles behind the mountains, Town Park fills with families, friends, lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and the sound of live music echoing through the valley. The Alpenglow Concert Series has been a beloved summer tradition for more than 30 years, bringing the community together for free outdoor concerts beneath the backdrop of Crested Butte Mountain and Paradise Divide.

It's one of my favorite ways to spend a summer evening. Great music, familiar faces, incredible mountain views, and a reminder that some of life's best moments don't need a ticket.

Alpenglow will always be one of my favorite Crested Butte summer traditions.
