In the spirit of Father’s Day this weekend, I want to take a moment to recognize someone who doesn’t get nearly enough credit for the success of my business—my husband, Jeff.

When I decided to become a Realtor, I’m pretty sure he thought he was just gaining a wife with a new career. What he actually got was a part-time job he never applied for. 😂

Over the last six years, he’s helped put out signs, haul marketing materials, attend community events, make long drives, move furniture, listen to endless real estate stories, and support a schedule that often includes evenings, weekends, holidays, and the occasional client call at less-than-ideal hours. There have been plenty of days that started before sunrise and ended long after dark—sometimes more than 12 hours long.

Anyone in real estate knows that those first years require a lot of sacrifice. Between licensing fees, MLS dues, marketing expenses, subscriptions, continuing education, and all the costs of building a business, it can feel like you’re working twice as hard just to get started. Behind every successful Realtor is usually a family making sacrifices too.

Through it all, Jeff has never stopped encouraging me. He’s supported the dream, celebrated the wins, helped carry the load during the busy seasons, and never complained when dinner was interrupted by a client call, a weekend turned into work, or a holiday included answering texts and emails.

I genuinely love what I do and wouldn’t trade helping my clients and their families for anything. But I also know I couldn’t have built Crystal Peak Properties without the support of my family, and especially my husband.

So this Father’s Day, I’m feeling extra grateful for the man who has been my biggest cheerleader, my sounding board, my partner, and the unofficial employee of the month for the last six years.

Thank you, Jeff. Thank you for believing in me, supporting this dream, and being willing to make sacrifices alongside me. Our family, my clients, and this business are all better because of you.
