We bought a home in Crested Butte in 1999. We had no idea what we were really investing in.

In 1999, my brother Rick and I came to Crested Butte for a 4 day ski weekend and to look into real estate. We went home and told our wives we submitted an offer on a house... and I made the decision to move some money from my financial portfolio into what became an investment in a lifetime of memories.

Twenty-seven years later, that investment has meant so much more than a financial return. It has meant raising our family in the mountains, skiing, hiking, fly fishing, golf, outdoor adventures, lifelong friendships, becoming part of this incredible community and finding ways to give back.
