Hallelujah for rain 💦. I’m loving the cooler temperatures and cloudy skies! ☁️🌧️ There was a noticeable shift in town this week as some of our summer neighbors and friends head back for school 🏫. The dog days of summer are upon us and there’s a little more elbow room out there. One of my favorite August adventures is paddle boarding at the end of the day on Lake Irwin. I’ve had my board out twice this summer and both times have been in the last week. A little quieter = more time to soak up 🌞 Crested Butte’s beauty⛰️….it is why I moved here 39 years ago. What is your favorite adventure this time of year?

Arts Fair has come and gone, which used to be the unofficial end of summer. That is not the case anymore…town is still humming with activity and visitors are soaking up the last of summer before school starts. THIS is the time of year we all dream about while the snow is piling up in January. Hopefully the snow will be doing that again this winter but in the meantime, the sun is shining, the trails are calling, and summer in Crested Butte is still POPPIN’! 🌼🚲⛰️
