The unofficial start to summer is here. Memorial Day Weekend-one of my favorites. 🇺🇸 It is a time when the barbecues come out and we gather with family and friends. More importantly it is a time to remember those who have served our country. On Monday, May 25, 2026, the Crested Butte Memorial Day Parade & Observance will honor the men and women who have served with a traditional march out to the Crested Butte Cemetery, followed by a potluck luncheon and polka dance. Events begin at 9:15 a.m. at Second and Elk Avenue in Crested Butte. I’ll be there following behind the service members as they walk to the cemetery. Come join me!
