Today is National Dog Selfie Day 🐾

Okay, I made that up, but trying to find an excuse for why I have so many Sasha Selfies. 😂

Yes, I probably hug and love on my dog too much. But if that’s considered a weird quirk - I’m okay with it.

I don’t know how they put up with us humans, but animals are amazing. No matter what kind of day it’s been, she always has a smile on her face and is immensely grateful for the tiniest things.

There’s something about skiing that no matter how you’re feeling, it puts a smile on your face. Here’s only a few moments off the ski hill, post-ski-glow, and I’m even okay with going back to work. 😂

Classic Crested Butte ➡️ trouble & fun, all in one. Throwback to old-school bartending days with some of the Eldo crew.

Things always shift and there has been a lot of change in our small mountain town. But like Mike reminded us at dinner “we’re all still family”.

Now Mike is the owner of Kochevars and walking into this place, you experience a melting pot of locals, visitors and new community members alike.

Over dinner we laughed about our younger-self shenanigans and caught up on new life developments. While Crested Butte (and arguably much of the world) has experienced a lot of change, there is still a sense of community when you seek and nurture it.

And as clearly seen in this group photo, we all love each other’s company. 😆

We have a few days before we officially hit negative temps again. 🥶
