Moulton's Monthly Title Tips 📍📝

Each month we will be covering a topic regarding closing information. Please feel free to comment with any questions or experiences you have had on the topic. We welcome any topic ideas as well that you would like us to discuss each month.

This month we will be covering existing surveys.
Existing surveys cannot be over 20 years old, the surveyor still needs to be in business and no changes to the property since that survey has been done. Please always check with our office if any changes have been made to the property.
We have included a picture with some examples of wording on existing surveys that are not transferable. Please always review and read the survey notes carefully before confirming with the client that it will be ok to use. Surveys should be sent to our office as soon as possible to help with reviewing.

Don’t forget to come celebrate all Deborah has done for our company!

Moulton Land Title would like to announce that Deborah Shaffer will be moving to New Orleans to start a new adventure. She has been a valuable part of the company as an employee and office manager for close to 25 years and help build Moulton Land Title into a successful company it is today. Her experience and knowledge of the title business will surely be missed. We thank her for all her hard work and dedication.

Deborah’s last day will be March 21st but we would like to invite all our customers, realtors, and lenders to come by and wish Deborah well on Tuesday, March 19th between 1-4 pm. We look forward to seeing you then!
