If you’ve had permitted work done on your home, make sure the final inspection was completed and the permit was officially closed before making that final payment.

It may not seem like a big deal today, but an open permit can become an unexpected headache when it’s time to sell.

A little due diligence now can save you time, money, and stress later.

What a special closing! Congratulations to my sweet first-time homebuyers, Caitlin & Carlos, on the purchase of their very first home! ❤️

These two have been such a joy to work with. We searched in two different cities, toured several homes, weighed the pros and cons…and wouldn’t you know it, we circled right back around to the very first home we looked at! Sometimes you just know. 😊 They made an offer, it was accepted, and today they officially get to call it HOME!

Working with first-time homebuyers is truly one of my favorite parts of my real estate career. There’s just something so rewarding about walking buyers through all the “firsts”—the first showing, the first offer, the inspections, the questions, the excitement and nerves—and then finally getting to see them hold those keys at the closing table. It never gets old! 🥹❤️
