Remembering Gail Liniger ❤️

Today, the RE/MAX family mourns the loss of Gail Liniger, co-founder of RE/MAX and a remarkable woman whose vision, courage and dedication helped shape the company we know today.

In 1973, Gail and Dave Liniger founded RE/MAX with a bold idea that would revolutionize the real estate industry. From the very beginning, Gail was a driving force behind that vision, bringing her incredible business acumen, determination, passion and warmth to building something extraordinary.

Gail's contributions went far beyond helping start a company. She is credited with keeping RE/MAX afloat during its challenging early years, helping lay the foundation for the global network that exists today.

She later served as CEO of RE/MAX from 1991 to 2002 and on the Board of Directors from 2013 to 2023.

Those who knew Gail remember not only her accomplishments, but the person she was: a trailblazer, philanthropist, advocate, pilot, golfer, savvy businesswoman and, most importantly, a genuinely kind and caring person.

Her impact reaches far beyond the RE/MAX name. She touched the lives and careers of hundreds of thousands of RE/MAX affiliates, past and present.

At RE/MAX Leading Edge, we are grateful to be part of the legacy Gail helped create. Her vision and dedication helped make RE/MAX what it is today, and her influence will continue through every RE/MAX professional who carries that legacy forward.

Gail, thank you.

And thank you for helping change our industry.

You will be deeply missed, but your legacy will live on.
