Oh my! Have you seen the weather forecast? Stay safe tomorrow, friends--and keep your fingers crossed for an early Spring!

Newest data in, except the Euro, that is not in for another 2 hours..

Below is 1st call. Will post official detailed forecast and map tomorrow evening as well, before this hits.

Yellow- Lightest at this time - Also, should remain mainly sleet, which is a lot better than freezing rain. Now, there could be some freezing rain here as well, I just feel it will be mainly sleet and at times a mix of everything.. Roads will still be bad Wednesday AM. Some schools may be closed

Red - .2" to .3" of freezing rain and sleet ( northern areas of red ) - Roads will be AWFUL Wednesday AM - very likely school will be called in most areas..

Purple - MAJOR ice storm potential here - Recent updates showing .25" to .45"++ inches of ice ( freezing rain ) - NOT GOOD! Would be shocked if ANY school is open.

Timing is a bit off. Some show it starting around 1AM and some show around 3AM Wednesday AM - Looks like there will be a 6 hour window of intense sleet or freezing rain in area whenever this does indeed start up.

Thankfully, I will be able to see all short term data that will come in tomorrow night between 10PM and 11PM. Either way, I keep saying and I have for days. Do NOT be shocked to see some areas upgraded to a Ice Storm warning/Winter Strom Warning when you wake up tomorrow for what will be happening early Wednesday AM.

This has to be watched VERY closely - Thankfully, I am here to do that 🙂
