I’m beyond proud today, and I couldn’t be happier to announce that one of my former students from my very first 5th grade class came to share something that really hit me. She let me know that I was an inspiration to her and that she’s decided to major in education. To know that I’ve had even a small impact on someone’s journey is incredibly humbling.
Jordan is now a senior in high school and has been accepted into Valparaiso University! I couldn’t be more proud of everything she’s accomplished so far. Her hard work and dedication have truly paid off, and watching her grow into the remarkable young woman she is today makes me incredibly proud.
Teaching is so much more than a job; it’s about inspiring the next generation, and moments like this make it all worth it. Congratulations, Jordan, on all your accomplishments! I’m wishing you all the best as you finish up this senior year and head into the exciting next chapter of your life. I have no doubt you’re going to make a difference in the lives of many others, and I couldn’t be prouder of you!
