There were a few bumps along the way (as real estate tends to go), but thanks to a rockstar listing agent and a whole lot of teamwork, we got it across the finish line!

Even more special? This home brought my niece and her sweet family back home to Indiana. Helping them plant roots here again was such a gift — and I couldn't be more honored to be a part of it.

Some deals are sprints, this one was a MARATHON! I met my clients in April of this year. We saw A LOT of houses. We spent time trying to get a short sale to the closing table. Then they were side tracked with a FSBO where the seller wanted an earnest money deposit of 27% of the purchase price. Then we saw A LOT MORE houses. We finally went under contract on this house! From there we jumped hurdles with a gas leak and lender requirements. We FINALLY made it to the closing table yesterday.

Some takeaways for anyone in the market to buy or sell...
1. Working with professionals who do this every day matters.
2. Who your lender is matters.
3. A good cooperating agent makes all the difference in the world.

So thrilled for my clients that after 6 months they are finally in the home that they just love!
