We want to extend a heartfelt 💙 THANK YOU 💙 to our amazing community for your generosity and support during this difficult time. Your donations and gift cards for the residents affected by the fire have made an incredible difference.

A special shoutout to the St. Mary's Catholic Church and School, the teachers from Wheeler School with donations organized by Stacey Lopez and Darlene Varga, the American Red Cross of Indiana, Carla with Friends of the Methodist Churches, and Immanuel Presbyterian Church Schererville, IN for helping us and accomodating our temporary shelter for our residents.

To all the individuals who brought in gift cards but chose to stay anonymous, please know how much we appreciate your kindness and support. Any leftover donations will be sent to local organizations to continue helping others in need.

💕We are truly grateful to be part of such a compassionate and giving community. 💕

At this time, we are no longer accepting donations. Any overflow of donations we have received will be redirected to nearby agencies, shelters, and community action groups to continue serving those in need.

If you are still looking to donate please see items below

- Inflatable mattresses
- Bedding, sheets, pillows
- Bath towels
- Basic kitchen wear - utensils, pots and pans, plates etc 

All the above items would be helpful as residents start getting permanent placements.
Most if not all of the residents will not have beds once they get back into an apartment home.

📍• Household items: new pillows, bedding, inflatable mattresses, toiletries
📍• Food items: non-perishable items or grocery store gift cards
📍• Monetary donations: gift cards only, as we are unable to accept cash at the office. Gift cards are a more effective way to provide support at this time.

We are deeply saddened by the recent fire that displaced multiple families in our community. Our hearts go out to everyone affected, especially those who lost their homes and beloved pets.

In this challenging time, we’ve been overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support and generosity from our community. Thank you for stepping up with donations, kind words, and assistance for our residents in need. Your kindness truly embodies the spirit of togetherness. 🙏🏼
