On Monday, I officially closed on my very first ā€œLemon Rice Realtorā€ client šŸ‹šŸššŸ©·

(Not the first people to reach outā€¦ Iā€™ve got a few amazing folks in the pipeline getting ready for their moment!)

This one felt extra special. We sold my clientsā€™ starter home in Hammond and helped them move into their new home in Hobartā€¦ and I even got to work alongside fellow Banga family member Julie Degnan on the deal (& Litke Loans Group, for my sellers on their purchase)

Most importantly, Iā€™m just so happy for this beautiful family to be settling into a home they truly love.

But alsoā€¦ as a proud Rustbelt Baddie, Iā€™m still a little in awe that my quirky love of lemon rice soup is literally bringing people together šŸ˜‚šŸ’•

OH MY GOODNESS: quick Kate-Lynn quipā€¦ As many close to me know Iā€™ve navigated some difficult dynamics and challenges through my life..

I spent a good chunk of my day yesterday having to take care of these challenges, legally, and a little rainbow in that storm was voting early (as I was at the courthouse anyway) seeing my self on the ballotšŸŒˆ

Nothing could have prepared me to wake up today to not just to a little rainbow but I think the entirety of Ozā€¦ to find outā€¦ out of everything Iā€™ve ever done in my lifeā€¦ my region rat-ness of being a ā€œsoupieā€ more specifically LEMON RICE SOUP would land me on the front page of our Regionā€™s most widely known publication The Times of Northwest Indiana

Our Creator is good! My life has not been easy, but I will never not believe that I am divinely protected and I truly walk in my purposeā€¦ and that current purpose is captivating my fellow 219-ers and bringing eyes to some of our best local-culture quirks šŸ©·
