The Texas Crab Festival is a one-of-a-kind celebration held annually on Mother’s Day Weekend in Crystal Beach on the Bolivar Peninsula. This iconic event has been delighting locals and visitors since 1986, combining the best of Gulf Coast cuisine, music, art, and family-friendly entertainment into one unforgettable experience.

At the heart of the festival is the delicious variety of crab-inspired dishes, from crab gumbo to fried crab claws and beyond. Food lovers can savor unique flavors while enjoying live music performances by regional and national artists spanning genres like country, rock, and blues.

Proceeds from the Texas Crab Festival support local scholarships and initiatives, giving back to the community through Bolivar Peninsula Charities.
