One northbound lane closed on Interstate 55 near Route Z for emergency pavement repairs

JEFFERSON COUNTY- Crews have closed one northbound lane on Interstate 55 near Route Z for emergency pavement repairs. The lane is expected to remain closed until 10 p.m. Tuesday, September 3.
Drivers traveling in Jefferson County on northbound I-55 south of Route Z should consider alternate routes during morning rush hour Tuesday, September 3. Motorists are encouraged to give themselves extra time to travel through this area as backups are expected.
