All lanes blocked on 146 North after construction truck incident at New Breakneck Bridge

Just after midnight, a construction truck’s raised bed became stuck on the new Breakneck Bridge while crews were paving and milling in the area, causing a crash that shut down all travel lanes.

The incident happened on Route 146 North at Exit 5 near Route 123 Breakneck Hill Road in Lincoln, leaving traffic at a standstill.

Crews worked to clear the truck and reopen the highway, but drivers faced major overnight delays and backups.

Rhode Island you really can’t make this stuff up. 🤦🏽‍♀️🚜🚧🚛
