👀 WATCHING THIS AREA CLOSELY FOR SEPTEMBER 28–29!
Long-range model guidance is suggesting that a noticeably cooler air mass could spread across a large portion of the central and eastern United States around Monday and Tuesday, September 28–29.
If the pattern holds, widespread overnight lows in the 40s and 50s could reach from portions of the Plains and Midwest through the Mid-South, Ohio and Tennessee valleys, Southeast and Mid-Atlantic.
This remains a long-range signal, so the strength, timing and exact coverage will likely change as we get closer. However, the overall pattern is interesting enough that we’ll be watching it closely over the coming days!
