Just picked up a radon test in a 53 year old house in Dunwoody, Ga. 30338. The overall radon average was 4.1 pCi/L. The highest recorded level was 7.0 cPi/L. The EPA recommends mitigation should be considered when the radon level is 4.0 cPi/L or higher. What is the radon level in your home?

If you live in the Atlanta metro area, today would be a great day to look at your roof. If your house is the only house in the neighborhood WITHOUT snow on it, you may need to contact an insulation contractor!! If you see small, discolored spots or pit marks in the snow, they could indicate a leak in your roof where heat is escaping and melting the snow. Similar evidence can be seen around chimneys and walls. In which case, you'll want to retain a roofing contractor.
