Just a post for my dude. He didn’t know I was taking this. I was zoomed in at x5 1/2. Crazy how yesterday he was a baby and today he looks like a man(he’s 12). Time is a thief.

Day 3, Olympia, Greece. 🇬🇷
Too hot. I think we all got heat exhaustion that day. However, it was amazing to walk where the original Olympians stood. Where the fire still burns every time there is an Olympic Games. The Olympics have such a profound meaning to myself and to my family. So to be there, to see it, to feel it, that really made an impact. Heat or no heat, I was determined to see it.

The first clip of the video was taken on our walk back to our ship. There was quite a commotion around the water and the reason were these giant jellyfish! Not sure what kind they are, I still haven’t looked it up 🤣 please feel free to let me know haha

The town of Olympia was really quite lovely. Friendly people, lively atmosphere and beautiful scenery.

Next will be my favorite of the Greek Stops we made, Corfu!

Ahh Santorini. Beautiful island with amazing beaches. On one side you have Golden sands and the other black sand. We went to Perivolos Black sand beach. The water was crystal clear when you were in it. You could see straight through to the bottom. It looked like dark water, but it was a magnificent blue on top of black. Really have not seen anything like it. Also the water was freezing 😂

Other than being a stunning place to hang out, they also have 🔥delicious cocktails! 🔥

Next is Olympia and Corfu!

Day 1 of 12 in Europe, Athens, Greece.

Unfortunately our flights got delayed, then cancelled before being rebooked 11 hours later than planned.. which means we had a very short stay in Athens before getting on a cruise ship. We landed at 1am and got to our hotel around 2:15 am… sleeping for 5 hours before venturing into the city for breakfast.
The Acropolis and Acropolis Museum were absolutely beautiful! This was just one stop in our Greek adventures.. coming up next, Santorini, Olympia(!!!!!!) and our favorite, Corfu.

My baby girl turned 18 and graduated high school yesterday. We are so beyond proud of her. Happiest of birthdays to my love and congratulations on the first of many accomplishments. YOU did it!!!

A BIG thank you to everyone who made the trip to come celebrate her. Rachel from Georgia, Jeremiah who flew in for 24 hours, my sister, niece, nephew and my dad, who drove up in the middle of the night and left as early as they could Friday morning after a FULL DAY of celebrating! To my parent in-laws, my insanely gorgeous sister in law Cindy, my amazing brother in law Fernando, and their 3 babies, Emi 5y, Luchi 2, and Stef, 9mo, thank you for making that drive.

And thank you to Malena who took excellent videos and photos for me!(she sat closer) 😘
