The poll has spoken. š³ļø
This weekās community pick: PRICE vs. TERMS.
So what actually matters more when a seller is evaluating an offer?
The price mattersābut itās only one part of the contract.
Financing, contingencies, seller credits, closing timeline, possession, and other terms can all affect how an offer looks and what has to happen for that transaction to actually reach closing.
And thatās an important distinction.
A high offer on Day 1 isn't necessarily the final number at closing. Inspections, appraisal, financing, and other contractual conditions can all affect what happens along the way.
At the same time, āstrong termsā shouldn't automatically mean taking unnecessary risks or giving up important protections.
Price tells the seller how much.
Terms tell the seller how.
Ultimately, a seller isn't choosing between price OR termsāthey're evaluating the entire contract.
