I recommend a Generators: portable generators to power entire house page for info on how it’s possible! We bought one last Summer and needed plumbers and electricians to make it happen. That group is great!

Having a portable generator with special hookups to natural gas and a huge electric plug into our home powered the whole house including AC, fridge, lights, fans. It was loud, but I just played “brown noise” in the house and we had a great experience. Next we are looking into something that mitigates the noise for our neighbors. Sorry, neighbors!

This home is on a quiet cul-de-sac with no rear neighbors. The backyard comes with an outdoor kitchen with a grill, a 3-tap kegerator, and two of the three exterior tv's. A brand new roofline was added to accommodate the full-length covered patio, not to mention hot tub, heated pool, with sun shelf.
