I think one of the biggest mistakes buyers make is chasing perfection 👀 It’s something we see all the time.
Trust me, I know being a perfectionist is hard… We want the perfect house, the perfect inspection, and an answer to every single question. But the truth is perfection doesn’t exist.
Especially with older homes, there isn’t a file somewhere documenting every repair, upgrade, or project that’s happened over the last 10, 20 or 50 years. We work hard to evaluate the home’s current condition, review what the sellers know, and use inspections to learn as much as possible but there will almost always be some unknowns.
Buying a home isn’t about eliminating every risk. It’s about understanding the home that’s in front of you and deciding if it’s the right one for your life.
Sometimes “good enough” isn’t settling, it’s being realistic. And that’s often how you find the home you’ll love for years to come. ❤️ Don’t let the search for perfect keep you from finding something wonderful.
