This morning, we were honored to join our partners and community leaders for the groundbreaking of the Greenhouse Road–US 290 Underpass Project; a transformational investment in the future of Cypress and northwest Harris County.

This long-anticipated project will improve connectivity between US 290 and Skinner Road, enhance mobility for drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists, and provide more reliable emergency response routes by eliminating train-related delays. Once complete, the corridor will feature expanded roadway access, pedestrian crossings, and a new 10-foot-wide hike-and-bike trail.

We’re grateful to stand alongside Harris County MUD 500, Commissioner Tom Ramsey, TxDOT, HCTRA, H-GAC, Cy-Fair ESD 9, and many others who helped bring this vision to life. Projects like these are made possible through strong partnerships and a shared commitment to the long-term success of our region.
