Whew… it’s been a WEEK! 😮‍💨

First and most importantly, my brother had a successful heart transplant surgery! 🙏🏽❤️ And every day he’s getting better and stronger. We’re taking it one day at a time, but God has definitely been in the middle of it all.

Thank you to EVERYONE who has checked on us, sent love, called, texted, prayed, donated and kept my brother and our family covered. It truly means more than you know. ❤️

There have been A LOT of hospital runs, and baby… your girl is TIRED. 😂 Between the hospital, family, and everything else, I’ve been running on prayer and whatever energy I could find.

Shoutout to my Greg | Moving & Storage family for the gift card to Massage Heights and the mani & pedi at Beauty Nail Bar - Cypress because BABY… the timing was PERFECT. 😂💅🏽💆🏽‍♀️ I definitely put those to good use!

Mommy and I spent A LOT of time together too, going back and forth to the hospital. In the middle of all of that, we were able to sneak away for lunch, and those little moments meant a lot. ❤️

And because life doesn’t stop just because life is lifing… I still got out and celebrated my girl and lender Megan’s birthday! 🎉 The Big Game Show was a BLAST. Great people, drinks, laughs, and then candle making at ReWax & Unwine. 🕯️

Somewhere in between all of that, my car decided it wanted some attention too and got towed. 😂

But I shook that one off and decided to look at it as a disguised blessing. Sometimes things happen that you don’t understand in the moment, but I’m learning to stop fighting every inconvenience and just ask, “God, what are You showing me?”

And after a WEEK like this, I had to end it at church. 🙏🏽

Grounded. Grateful. Covered.

Still tired. 😂 But grateful.

Grateful for my brother getting stronger. Grateful for my family. Grateful for my mommy. Grateful for good people who show up. Grateful for moments of fun in the middle of hard days.

It’s been A LOT… but God has been even bigger.

Now let’s get ready for a new week 🙏🏾❤️

That's the advice from mortgage broker Megan Madison — and she's not exaggerating.

She shared a real story about a VA buyer who was almost DENIED because of rental payment history. Close call!

Here's what you need to know:
📅 Lenders look back 12 months for positive rental history
⚠️ Negative items? They look back 2 YEARS
🚫 Rental collections must be zeroed out completely
✅ Late payments older than 2 years are generally OK

Your rental history is your track record. Treat it like the most important bill you have — because when it comes to buying a home, it is.

And be nice to your landlords. You might need them. 😅

Sitting with my big bro right now. He's still heavily sedated, intubated, and not responding to commands yet, this is what recovery looks like right after a transplant, even when it's hard to see.

The team says this is part of the process, his body is doing the work of healing. We're staying by his side and trusting God with every hour.

We have some encouraging news to share about John!

His procedure today to close his chest went well and tomorrow, the doctors plan to move forward with extubation (removing the breathing tube).

This means his lungs are doing much better and he is ready to start breathing on his own.The first 24 hours after removal require a lot of rest, so he will likely be very tired and have a sore throat, but this is a massive step forward.
