A life celebration will take place, this Sunday from 2:00-4:00 pm at Hodges Funeral Home.

Bobby Wayne Simmons 75, of Dade City, FL passed away at home peacefully Saturday, September 17th, 2022, surrounded by his family. He was born December 11, 1946, in Booneville, Mississippi to John Adam Ora Kyle Simmons and moved to this area 52 years ago. He co-owned and operated Simmons, Beall

Some of you may wonder what exactly is land surveying? According to Wikipedia "Surveying or land surveying is the technique, profession, art and science of determining the terrestrial or three-dimensional positions of points and the distances and angles between them. A land surveying professional is called a land surveyor. These points are usually on the surface of the Earth, and they are often used to establish maps and boundaries for ownership, locations, such as building corners or the surface location of subsurface features, or other purposes required by government or civil law, such as property sales."
