Surround yourself with great people!
When it comes to being a real estate professional, I pride myself in just that. Being a professional and providing the best service that I can. Sometimes that includes asking for outside help.
Just a short time ago I was in a pickle with not 1, but 2 clients. I had 2 clients that wanted the exact some house. And you guessed it. They both wanted to put in an offer on that exact same house. I was mortified. I didn't know what to do! Ethically and morally, I didn't know how I could call myself a professional and help both clients strategies an offer that would get accepted. I wanted both clients to get the house but Ethically and Morally I just couldn't.
How could I, as their REALTOR, do this and have a clear conscious about this? I couldn't! I want to thank Karen, Andy, and Gil for helping when I asked them for help. I had one of our brokers at Birch River Realty, help one of my clients with their offer, and the other broker to do the same for my other client. I told them that I didn't want to know what that offer was or what it looked like until one of them got accepted. And as the saying goes, when it is meant to be, it is meant to be.
Both clients were able to submit a fair and strong offer, but only 1 of them was accepted. Luckily, just a short time later, the client that didn't get the house literally ended up finding the perfect house for their family. Again, thank you to the amazing people at Birch River Realty for always being amazing and willing to help out in difficult situations like this one.
And always remember, sometimes we don't get what we want in life, be we will always get what we need in life!
