The other I was having an off day and one of the guys I work with asked me how I was? I respond, “ah, I’m okay”. He looked at me and said “you have your health, your beauty, a roof over your head, you’re breathing, you should be happy” and it turned my whole day around.

Moral of the story: Even on your bad days, try to focus on the good things because things could be a lot worse.😇

🌁 The bridges in Dallas provide such a aesthetic to downtown. Here is one of my favorite bridges designed by the international architect Santiago Calatrava, The Margaret McDermott Bridge. The ribbon cutting of the new pedestrian 🚶🏽‍♂️ and bicyclists 🚴 lanes occurred this morning.

The pedestrian and bicycle lanes were developed to help improve access and mobility between Oak Cliff and West Dallas, on one side of the Trinity River, and downtown Dallas on the other. 🏙
